Because enabling this feature is the driving force behind most other brand's firmware updates, I can't imagine Insignia releasing a firmware update for any other reason any time soon, as they notoriously bad about product support after the fact. SORRY! BD live capable players will drop below $150 in the next twelve months though, so you can get one with the feature soon enough for little money. Hope this was helpful.
