    The BDP-S300 was a earlier Blue Ray player from Sony. This Blue ray player is out of production. The BDP-S350 replaced the BDP-S300. You will find that the BDP-S300 does not support Blue ray Final Standard and features like Blue Ray Live. The BDP-S350 (at least with a firmware upgrade) will support these features. It also operates considerably faster to user inputs than the BDP-S300.
