Sending playstation 3 to sony for repairs?

I just got an email that they are sending me a box to mail back my sony to have the BD fixed. how long does it take to get this box? They also said it takes 7-10 to repair the problem and get it back. But, I have been seeing everyone else say it takes 4-6 weeks. which one is true?

    it’s hard to tell. If it’s for replacement, then you’ll get it back in less than a week. But if it is for repair, it can be between 4 and 10 weeks depending on how long is the line up of consoles for repair at their service centers. it will go through 2 lines.. 1 line for testing (to verify the problem) and another line for repair.
