Playing Blu-Ray discs on my Sony Vaio notebook…?
I’d like to play my Blu-Ray discs on my Sony Vaio notebook and have it displayed on my JVC Genessa flat screen TV. It’s hooked up already and I can view all my other computer content on the TV, except Blu-Ray discs.
The program I’m using is Intervideo WinDVD BD for Vaio (Windows Vista). The discs play fine on the computer, but don’t display on my TV. When the TV is on, IntervideoDVD shows a message that says, "Your display environment does not support protected content playback." Is there a program that will allow me to watch my movies on the TV, using my computer as the Blu-Ray player?
Thank you

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDCP
HD DVD, Blu-ray Disc and DVD players (with HDMI or DVI connectors) use HDCP to establish an encrypted digital connection. If the display device—or in the case of using a PC to decrypt and play back HD DVD or Blu-ray media, the graphics card (hardware, drivers and playback software)—does not support HDCP, then a connection cannot be established. As a result, a black picture and/or error message will likely be displayed instead of the video content.
Content providers for HD DVD and Blu-ray media can set an Image Constraint Token (ICT) flag that will only output full-resolution digital signals using a digital HDCP connection.
