Is the ps3 still gonna have blu-ray? And if so is it gonna be used for the games and movies?
I heard that the ps3 will have blu-ray but I heard they are only going to use blu-ray discs for the movies. They said because of the high cost of blu-ray discs they will not be offering games on blu-ray but on dvd-roms, I hope to god this isnt true.

Sony is using the PS3 as its main platform for selling Blu-Ray. They hope to push Blu-Ray by subjecting the legions of PS3 purchasers to it. Kind of a ‘Buy it because it’s Playstation, learn to like the Blu-ray format’. They will definitely use it for both games and movies.
