Is it possible to add a blu ray torrent file on my thumb drive and play it on my PS3?

I was thinking I’ll download, lets say, Planet Earth from a torrent that is Blu Ray and then transfer it on my Thumb Drive then stick it onto my Ps3. Will this work??? As far as clarity is concerned, will it be blu ray clear?

    the ps3 will only play certain file types so depending on the file it might play or might not
    if you really want to play all video files on your ps3 download and install java ps3 media server onto your computer and enable the ps3 media server
    it will convert while streaming to your ps3 any format ( even iso files )
    the quality depends on the file size and original format plus your tv ( experience has shown plasma is clearer than lcd and won’t pixelate the same way , this is from personal observation of the same file played through a ps3 on both types of tv )
