Is Gladiator worth buying on Blu-Ray format? Some reviews say the HD transfer went bad and made it worse…?

You would be better off waiting, the noise reduction method they used took out some important information, Most noted the arrow flames in the beginning battle scene in Germania… in the film..I understand that they will be coming out with a newer version that addresses some of the problems.
