		<description>Yes, its worth it.  I can give 3 useful reasons too:

1.  The PS3 can be updated with firmware updates via the internet.  Firmware updates can improve all aspects of the console and the Blu-Ray player is no exception.  Only the best stand-alone models offer something like this and they go well over $600.  In fact, the PS3 does one better since you can use either wired or wireless internet; I believe those top models only offer an Ethernet port and no Wi-Fi.

2.  The PS3 is one of the best players for DVD-to-HD upconversion (converting DVD video to HD resolutions).  In fact, I think this came in a firmware update, so its an example of improving the Blu-Ray player aspect via firmware updates.

3.  The PS3 uses its excellent Cell Processor for the sound processing.  This means that the PS3 can produce sounds that most other stand-alone players are unable to produce.

Many experts and home theater enthusiasts have praised the PS3 as one of the best Blu-Ray players for the money (even when it was priced at $400), given the features it offers.</description>
