I have a new motherboard with only one IDE connection, how do I connect my DVD & HD then?
I just purchased a new motherboard (and CPU). The board I got is ASUS P5Q-Pro, it’s been awhile since I’ve put a new rig together but one thing that surprised me is that it only came with one IDE connection. So how exactly am I supposed to connect both my DVD and HD?

Time to get with the times, change things over to SATA. SATA DVD ROMs are like $25 now for a nice one, and SATA drives are the same price as IDE now.
