I have a HD TV it’s 720i or it could be 720p. How will the pic. look if a dvd is 1080p for example?
I’m trying to figure out if I need to get a better resolution High Def TV so I can see the HD DVD that is 1080p better.

Your TV size is fine! Just make sure the settings in your DVD player are set to either 720p or 1080i.
You can leave the settings on 1080p in your DVD player, but it might downsize the screen a bit(thicker bars on the top & btm)!
