How can I take off the black bars (on top and bottom) when I watch Blu-Ray movies on PS3?
I got a PS3 connected via HDMI to a Sony Bravia HDTV (1080p), and when I watch Blu-Ray movies there are back bars on top and bottom of the screen.
I don’t know if that’s normal or not.
If it isn’t how do I take them off?

Its normal. This is the 16:9 "Letterbox" screen format (as if you were watching the movie in the movie theater). Head to the video settings if you don’t want the screen in this format. I cannot remember which specific settings menu you use in the video settings, but look for something that gives you full screen or 4:3 or something like that.
EDIT: The DVD Wide Display is what I was thinking of. Choose Pan and Scan. If that doesn’t work for Blu-Ray, you might not be able to remove the bars via the PS3 (meaning you’ll have to check the menus on the movie disc, which sometimes gives you the option).
