How can i play Hd Dvd on my acer aspire 8920 blu ray?

I have an acer aspire 8920 with blu ray drive is it possible some how to play Hd Dvd on it aswell is there a program or update i can run to play dual format????

Sorry, Blu-Ray and HD DVD are not compatible. The laser reads differently, different angle, etc… You need a drive that is built to read both kinds of discs, there is no firmware update that will make a Blu-Ray read an HD DVD.
