Rumors of 120GB model (same backwards compatibility as 80GB) are around too. They conflict with rumors that only barebone 40GB will be available. All we have are rumors now. IMHO, Sony will stick to 40GB unit, because: a). It's the cheapest unit to produce; b). People, who'll want to play PS2 games will pay extra cash to Sony for PS2 consoles - another profit for Sony.
