Do i need a blu-ray player in my computer to make backup copys of my Playstation 3 PS3 games?
im looking at the program gamecopypro.
do i need a burner or a player or both?

Yes, but currently i think it is impossible to do. Blu-Ray games can have a ton of filler space and an ISO for a Blu-Ray game may be up to 25 – 50 gigs!
Not worth even bothering with yet. I remember when DVD burners came out and how i was amazed that they could hold 4 gigs against my 20 gig hard drive…now i have 1.75 terabytes.
