And people would buy it because there would be nothing else to buy. secondly, HD-DVD is going to blow blu-ray out of the water. yes blu-ray is more advanced and can hold a lot more room. but look at the cons. the blu-ray players are at least 1000 dollars; secondly it is too ahead of its time. look at what happened to the umd, no one else made a umd player besides sony. this is why HD-DVD will win, its not too ahead of its time, its easy to format with, it has more public support, and finally it has major companies backing it like microsoft and panasonic.
