World of Warcraft Horde Guide
In the WoW Horde Guide you’ll learn about the various races that make up the Horde, one of the 2 warring factions of Warcraft.
The five races that make up the Horde faction are the Blood Elves, Orcs, Tauren, Trolls and the Undead. Each race has its own advantages and disadvantages.
Warcraft Horde Guide- 5 Races
Blood Elves:
After the destruction of their kingdom in the Third War by the Scourge the High Elves became known as the Blood Elves.
Hawkstrider is the mount for Blood Elves and can be bought at Silvermoon City in Thuron’s Livery. As far as classes, many Blood Elves happen to belong to the Mage and Warlock class and even the Warrior and Hunter classes.

Orcs:
Orcs have a long tradition as Warriors and this in turn is seen in many of their characteristics. For example their weapon is the axe and they fight with pure brute strength. So if this is your playing style then the Orc may be a good match. The classes that Orcs can be are Death Knights, Hunters, Rogues, Shamans, Warlocks, and Warriors. Worgs, large wolves, serve as the Orcs’ mount.
Tauren:
If your play style favors combat, then another great choice is the Tauren. Thats because not only are they incredibly strong but have great stamina in battle.
One really cool ability of Taurens is called War Stomp. This ability allows them to tell the spirits to shake the Earth and stun their enemies.
The Tauren’s mount choice is limited given their huge size. The Kodo which is a large reptile is one.
Taurens can be Druids, Shamans, Hunters, Warriors, and Death Knights.
Trolls:
The least common race in all of Warcraft are the Trolls. Similar to the Orc, they’re fantastic in combat. Specializing in Throwing Spears, they can also go into Berserker state which gives them spell casting ability and makes their attack speed faster.
Trolls can be Priests, Rogues, Warriors, Mages, Hunters, and Shamans. Raptors serve as the Troll’s mount.
Undead:
Finally the Undead, also known as Forsaken, can belong to the Death Knight, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Warlock, and Warrior classes. Skeletal Horses serve them as their mount. Two interesting things about the Undead is that they can feed on the flesh of other races to regain their own strength and thier ability to stay under water since they don’t breathe.
