Three methods that are great at making gold are some professions, flipping and grinding.

Grinding:

First let’s look at Grinding, an easy yet often tedious way of making gold. Although you can grind at any level it’s after level 50 that’ll give you the best chances for making gold. It’s actually possible to make 50g/hr just from grinding.

After leveling to 50 grinding is abundant in Winterfall Village in Winterspring.

Making gold here is really straight forward, just grind the many furbolgs you’ll come across.

Everlook Forest is where the Yetis live. They’re good for grinding also because they’re pretty easy to take out.

There’re some good grinding spot in the Eastern Plaguelands so once you reach level 80 go check it out. You won’t have any trouble find mobs to grind.

WoW Gold Guide intro to Flipping for Profit:

Flipping, or selling things in the Auction House, is another great way to make gold if you know how. You can do this two way, first you can sell stuff you’ve gathered or you can buy things at the Auction House for a lower price and sell it again at a higher price.

Flipping and Grinding can be really good together. Grind mobs with high drop rates and then flip the items in the Auction House.

A good strategy is to first watch what’s selling and for what price. Try getting these items and you’ll do much better with flipping.

Success in the Auction House is often a matter of good timing. The more bidders to better chance you’ve got to making good gold so go to the Auction House when the most players are there. Secondly, don’t flood the market. This mean don’t put lots of the same item on the market all at once or you’ll get less gold for each one you sell.

Professions:

Among the professions that are really good for making gold are Mining, Skinning and Blacksmithing.

Profession do take longer for making gold simply because you’ve got to level up to make good gold. Making gold is really easy after you’ve leveled up. Using this method with flipping is a really good way to make gold.
