There are even websites specifically intended or designed to promote girl gaming. If anything, this is only another proof that in today’s world, gender issues are simply a goner. Time and again, it has been proven that males and females are equally capable, therefore, the issue of a gamer being a girl or a boy shouldn’t even exist anymore. In today’s society, there will always be that line between males and females, but it’s refreshing to know that this line is slowly thinning everyday. In the world of online gaming, the only regretful fact that remains is that girls still seem to have to prove themselves before being accepted into a male-dominated multiplayer teams. Today, there are many types of online games for girls and, perhaps, this is simply proof that girls deserve the same amount of respect in the world of online gaming and even in offline computer games.
