Mage Class Guide
In Warcraft you may either like combat or casting spells more. If magic is your thing then allow me to introduce the Mage in this WoW Mage guide.
The Mage is an excellent spell caster. Their talents at using fire, frost and the arcane are unmatched in Warcraft. What stength they have with their magic, Mages lack when in comes to combat and melee. Mages have to major limitations, they only wear cloth armor, and have as weapons only wands, daggers, swords and staves. However, they do have a ton of spells that can allow the Mage to kill their enemy without getting to close to them. Other interesting things their magic will allow them is create food and drink from thin air in order to restore their allies and friends and even use portals to travel to distant places instantly. Mages can belong to the following races: Human, Gnome, Undead, Troll, Blood Elves and Draenei. In the next part of the WoW mage guide I”m going to tell you about some of this classes strengths and weaknesses.

Mage Strengths:
One of the major strengths of Mages is that they can use spells to inflict major damage to single and even multiple targets. However if the battle isn’t going well then the Mage can do 2 things. Firstly, they can hold off enemies with magic and secondly they’re masters of escape with their Frost Nova, Blink and Ice Armor spells.
Another strength is that they can avoid taking damage by launching attacks from long range. Also as I mentioned they can travel through portals and even transport other players this way.
Mage Weaknesses:
The Mages lack of armor is the source of one major weakness of this class, making it difficult for them to survive much damage. Melee is a huge weakness for Mages so if you intend to do much of this choose another class. Last but not least, for all their magical strengths they don’t have any real healing ability.
Cool Mage Spells:
As a conclusion to the WoW Mage guide I’ll mention some cool spells. These can help them overcome some of their limitations mentioned earlier.
- Mirror Image- This spell makes multiple versions of you appear that can then be used in battle.
- Invisibility- Allows you to be invisible to your enemies for short distances.
- Water Elemental- Mages can summon a Water Elemental to fight in battle.
- Ice Block & Ice Barrier- These two spells can go a long way in making up for the Mages lack of armor allowing them to take some damage.
