I have been into video games since I can remember. You can imagine my excitement when a buddy of mine told me there was such a thing as game tester jobs where you could actually make money from playing video games. What I did not know was that there was a web of greedy scam artists waiting to take the money off newbie game testers desperate for jobs. I wrote this article, cause I thought it was important that everyone know about this game tester job scam.

Here Is My Story…

2 years ago I was just a bum gamer – living of $50 per week. I was spending like 40 hours a week playing games. I was struggling to hold down my part time job. So then 1 day a gamer buddy of mine tells me he is earning $100 per hour sitting at home beta testing unreleased video games.

So than I jumped online and did some Google searches for ‘game tester jobs. There were a bunch of these game testing guides that were promising instant job offers and pay in excess of $100 per hour. I could not believe it and handed over the cash, and waited for the offers to come rolling in. Guess what? And they never did. In fact only the 1 offer from a company testing an online PC game paying a lousy $10 per hour. I was strapped for cash and pretty darn angry at this point.

So I emailed the guys a few times asking for refunds. I never heard a word from them. They did not have a money back guarantee. It was an absolute rip-off! I was furious and was unsure what I could do about it…

I was going to give up, but was still desperate to find this elusive game tester job. Next I jumped on a few forums for video game testers. I met some pretty cool dudes, and they told me about this game testing guide which had landed them heaps of good paying jobs. So I decided to give it one last go, and bought the guide.

As I said that was two years ago. Today I am making quite a decent income from full time game testing. I completely owe it to the guide which hooked me up with all those jobs to start with. It’s a great lifestyle for gamers, and all you need is the right job offers to succeed.
