  1. This is a classic western trilogy that’s a must buy for those die hard western fans, it’s Clint at his finest…it doesn’t get any better than this.

Of course I love this series and got them all on VHS and then DVD. Now that I’m into blu-ray I was going to get TGTB&TU but I noticed that there was some negative reviews on the quality. Does anyone know if this is new and improved or just the same and to wait?

The three films in the series look great, but I’ve been having trouble getting the extras to play in their proper aspect ratio. They’re all shrunken down, and relegated to the top left corner of my widescreen TV. Odd because, as I said, the films fill the screen as they should. Anybody have any ideas? I have no issues like this with any other BD discs in my extensive collection. Thanks.

  4. Look at the review of this Blu-Ray set on DVD beaver. The Fistful of Dollars transfer is severely cropped. So noticeably so, that I canceled my order. What a shame? How long will we have to wait for this to be corrected?

By the way, all three of these films are great.

GBU is only $10.00 by itself and it is the same exact disc as in the Trilogy. So that means A Fistful and A Few cost $44.99 for the 2 movies. I will wait until the price comes down like it did for the Magnificent Seven Collection before I buy.
