Can a Blu-Ray player work with a standard definition TV player?
My DVD player is shot after a 10-year run. I would like to upgrade to HDTV, eventually, but I can’t afford it right now (next year, hopefully). I need a new DVD player, and would prefer to NOT buy a standard, if I can help it, rather than do so and have to upgrade eventually next year.
I realize that it will not display in HD quality, but will it work at all with a standard definition TV?
