Hi,
I recently purchased a Samsung 26" LCD TV for my bedroom. (YAY!) I have a xbox 360 and its hooked up to high definition. Is it worth buying a blu ray for movies or is the xbox 360 HD cable ok for the DVD? If the blu ray is going to be alot better, than which blu ray player do you recommend for occasional movie watching for 0-0?
Thanks.
the cheaper blu ray the better. I just want one for ocasional movie watching, it doesn’t have to be the best one around. 0-0 would be a great price.

If you are only watching the occasional movie, then you are fine with the HD cables on your 360. If you are a more serious movie watcher then you are going to want a larger TV, and if you are a semi serious gamer as well the PS3 is a great option. If you despise the PS3 then you can get some great Blue Ray players from Samsung. Check the net, I have seen them for as low as $150!
I’m a Blu-ray advocate, but I don’t know if it’s worth it buying a Blu-ray player if you’re watching movies on a 26" TV. It will improve the picture, but if I were you I’d get a bigger TV before I bought a Blu-ray player. By the time you do that the players will be much less expensive.
To answer your question, IMO the Panasonic DMP-BD60 is the best budget Blu-ray player.
